New Delhi, Oct. 21 -- The European Council on Monday approved conclusions on a new strategic agenda between the European Union (EU) and India, acknowledging the 'strong impetus' in bilateral relations and outlining an expanded framework for cooperation.
The agenda seeks to advance collaboration across key areas such as prosperity and sustainability, technology and innovation, security and defence, connectivity, and global governance.
It follows the agenda's unveiling last month by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who emphasised the importance of strengthening partnerships "rooted in shared interests and guided by common values."
