New Delhi, May 16 -- The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully developed a nanoporous multilayered polymeric membrane for high-pressure seawater desalination.
The development was completed in a notably efficient timeframe of eight months by the Defence Materials Stores and Research & Development Establishment (DMSRDE), DRDO's specialised laboratory in Kanpur, marking a significant advancement in indigenous maritime technology.
