New Delhi, Jan. 20 -- In a move to enhance accessibility and user convenience in banking services, the Department of Posts has upgraded its ATM infrastructure across the country.

A total of 887 ATMs installed at post offices are enabling citizens to access basic banking services closer to their homes.

The initiative is expected to particularly benefit residents of rural and underserved areas, supporting the government's objective of promoting financial inclusion through digital transformation.

These ATMs allow customers to withdraw cash, check account balances and conduct other routine banking transactions.
