New Delhi, Aug. 6 -- The Delhi government is planning to form a city-level women federation in Najafgarh, which will work closely with self-help groups to establish self-sustaining large-scale businesses.

Delhi revenue minister Kailash Gahlot on Friday interacted with 12 newly formed women self-help groups consisting of more than 120 women entrepreneurs in Najafgarh, which will be part of area-level federations.

Speaking about the initiative, Gahlot said that the city-level federation will help the Najafgarh area to become a women-led Micro-enterprise hub to create job opportunities for women.
