New Delhi, Jan. 27 -- India and Indonesia have embarked on a significant expansion of their bilateral relationship, announcing comprehensive measures to strengthen defence cooperation and economic ties during Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto's state visit to India as the chief guest at the 76th Republic Day celebrations.

The defence collaboration between the two nations has taken centre stage, with Indonesia expressing interest in India's defence manufacturing capabilities.
