New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary has informed the Lok Sabha that the government has undertaken corrective and systemic measures following certain observations made in the Performance Audit Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) on the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY).

The Minister said the CAG report, which covered the first three phases of PMKVY up to 2022, flagged certain deviations relating to age, educational qualifications and work-experience eligibility parameters prescribed under scheme guidelines. He noted that the findings provide valuable inputs for strengthening programme implementation.
