New Delhi, May 5 -- The Commerce Ministry on Thursday conducted a comprehensive consultation with key domestic industry stakeholders to discuss the proposed India-U.S. bilateral trade agreement (BTA).
The aim of the meeting was to gather inputs to strengthen trade ties between the two nations in a mutually beneficial manner, a senior official confirmed.
The session was chaired by Rajesh Agrawal, Special Secretary in the Commerce Ministry and India's chief negotiator for the agreement.
He led discussions on recent developments in India-U.S. trade relations and highlighted opportunities for collaboration under the proposed pact.
