Chennai, June 5 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin virtually inaugurated two significant industrial facilities on Wednesday, marking a combined investment of Rs 475 crore in the state's manufacturing sector.

The facilities comprise a robotics manufacturing unit by Germany's Agile Robots SE and an air separation plant by SOL India Pvt Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of Italy's SOL Group.

The Agile Robots facility has been established at SIPCOT's Irungattukottai industrial estate with an investment of Rs 300 crore.

The plant is projected to generate over 300 high-skilled employment opportunities and will focus on manufacturing AI-powered robotic components for automotive, consumer electronics, and healthcare industries.
