Amaravati, Aug. 4 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has formally requested Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to expedite clearances for metro rail projects in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.

During their discussions, Naidu assured the union minister that the state government would provide all necessary cooperation for the seamless implementation of highway development projects.

The Chief Minister emphasised that the state administration would address land acquisition challenges to prevent delays in critical road infrastructure projects.
