New Delhi, May 22 -- Union Minister for Heavy Industries H.D. Kumaraswamy convened an inter-ministerial coordination meeting on Wednesday to review and accelerate the implementation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure under the PM E-Drive scheme.
The meeting brought together senior officials from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and Ministry of Heavy Industries.
The PM E-Drive scheme represents a comprehensive initiative to establish a nationwide EV-ready ecosystem aimed at promoting cleaner transportation and reducing India's reliance on fossil fuels.
