New Delhi, Jan. 22 -- The Cotton Corporation of India Ltd. (CCI), a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Textiles, has given a dividend cheque of Rs 8.89 crore for the financial year 2024-25.

The cheque was handed over by CCI Chairman and Managing Director Lalit Kumar Gupta to Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh at a function held in New Delhi.

The Minister commended CCI's performance and underscored the importance of sustained growth, operational efficiency, transparency and innovation in strengthening India's cotton and textile value chain.
