New Delhi, June 10 -- The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, conducted an industry awareness programme on Monday to educate stakeholders about the new Omnibus Technical Regulation (OTR) Order, 2024.
The session focused on safety standards for machinery and electrical equipment and saw participation from over 65 industry representatives.
The event highlighted the growing interest among manufacturers and businesses in aligning with India's evolving technical and safety norms.
