Tiruchirappalli, April 3 -- BHEL Trichy complex plans to support the upskilling of workers in regional ancillary units to ensure high-quality product supply, as its outsourced annual product requirement has surpassed 2.4 lakh metric tonnes.
The manufacturing unit has also committed to assisting MSMEs that need loans to revitalise their production capabilities.
Specifically, BHEL Trichy will enhance welder qualifications through its Welding Research Institute, recognising that welders require advanced skillsets for quality production.
Welders and fitters represent two major worker categories in the ancillary units that supply components to BHEL.
