New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sahakar Taxi Cooperative Limited (Bharat Taxi) to provide strategic advisory and technical support for its cooperative-driven national ride-hailing initiative.

Bharat Taxi, jointly promoted by leading cooperative and financial institutions including NCDC, IFFCO, AMUL, KRIBHCO, NAFED, NABARD, NDDB, and NCEL, seeks to integrate the principles of the cooperative movement with the government's Digital India vision, delivering citizen-centric, technology-enabled services.
