Guwahati, June 17 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the state government will soon create an Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) portal to boost the process of industrialisation.
He said that several steps have been taken by the Assam government to facilitate EoDB and development of industries in the state.
Speaking at a meeting with leading industrialists in the city on Thursday, the CM said land policy, change of forest land, availability of energy sources, the feasibility of business and commerce etc are the factors on which industrialisation depends.
A roadmap is being prepared to address all the challenges and enhance industrial development in the state, he added.
