New Delhi, Feb. 17 -- Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Monday announced that India will soon launch a 'Create in India' Mission aimed at strengthening the country's Orange Economy and positioning it as the world's preferred creative hub.
Speaking at the AI Impact Summit 2026, Vaishnaw said the initiative will be industry-oriented, employment-focused and future-ready, designed to power India's growth trajectory over the next 25 years, reported The Economic Times.
"Very soon, we will be launching a 'Create in India' Mission. Like the semiconductor mission, it will also be a very industry-oriented, employment-oriented and future-oriented mission," he said.
