Gujarat, July 17 -- ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has commissioned a new Continuous Galvanized Line (CGL) at its Hazira plant in Gujarat, aiming to meet the rising demand for high-strength automotive steel in India.
This advanced facility will produce coated steel for automobile manufacturers, catering to evolving safety and efficiency standards in the sector.
The new line has an annual production capacity of 500,000 tonnes and is designed to manufacture high-strength coated steel used in cars, including in structural and safety-critical components.
