Bhubaneswar, Feb. 24 -- South Asian apparel manufacturing leader MAS Holdings initiated construction of its inaugural venture at the MAS Apparel Park-Bhuinpur in Odisha's Khurda district on Sunday.
The facility, situated on a 60-acre plot, represents a significant expansion into the Indian market for the Singapore-based company.
The integrated textile facility, approved by the high-level clearance authority (HLCA) under Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi's leadership, involves an investment of Rs 1,211.87 crore.
MAS Holdings projects the creation of 10,000 jobs and anticipates attracting investments exceeding USD 140 million over the next decade.
