New Delhi, Oct. 31 -- The Army Purchase Organisation (APO) wants to procure a large quantity of processed food products for the needs of the army. The All India Food Processorss Association said in a communication to industry associations.
The army has requested the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) to publicise the requirements of the APO among its network and assisted units so that a nation-wide vendor base could be developed and competition occurs.
The APO has provided specification of the products and the requirements of suppliers along with documentary formalities expected of suppliers.
