Amaravati, March 15 -- Energy Minister Gottipati Ravikumar has announced a target to export approximately 3,000 tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030, positioning Andhra Pradesh to become a green energy hub in India.
During a discussion on the energy sector in the state assembly, the minister highlighted that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) pioneered power reforms in the country, being the first to implement the Electricity Regulatory Commission as part of electricity reforms.
A green hydrogen hub project spanning 1,200 acres is being established in Pudimadaka, Anakapalle district, with an investment of Rs 1.85 lakh crore in partnership with NTPC and Nredcap.
