Patna, April 1 -- Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various Central and State Government projects worth over Rs 800 crore in Patna, Bihar.
The event was attended by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai.
Addressing the gathering, Shah highlighted the Modi government's welfare initiatives over the past decade, including housing, electricity, gas, drinking water, sanitation, and free food grains for 80 crore people.
He criticised previous opposition governments for neglecting the poor and failing to strengthen the cooperative sector.
