New Delhi, July 21 -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a loan of Rs 975.26 crore for the development of infrastructure across nine industrial areas in Tripura, a senior official confirmed on Monday.
Tripura Industrial Development Corporation (TIDC) Chairman Nabadal Banik stated that the project aims to build world-class industrial infrastructure, including industrial sheds, power substations, underground electric lines, fire service stations, and 34 roads. "The implementation is underway," Banik told PTI.
The nine industrial zones covered under the initiative include areas in Bodhjungnagar, R K Nagar, Dukli, and AN Nagar.
