New Delhi, Oct. 13 -- India's renewable energy sector added 34.4 GW of new solar and wind power capacity during the first nine months of 2025, marking a 71 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.

According to Jyoti Gulia, Founder, CEO, JMK Research, solar capacity grew by nearly 69 per cent, while wind installations saw an even stronger increase of 88.8 per cent year-on-year.
