Patna, Sept. 29 -- Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, along with Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, on Thursday flagged off 7 new trains in Bihar, including 3 Amrit Bharat Express services.
The launches expand Bihar's Amrit Bharat network to 26 of the 30 services currently operating across the country.
The new Amrit Bharat services include the Muzaffarpur-Charlapalli Express, the first to connect Muzaffarpur with South India, and the Chhapra-Anand Vihar Express, the sixth train linking Bihar with Delhi.
Another service will run between Darbhanga and Ajmer (Madar). Four additional passenger trains-Patna-Buxar, Jhajha-Danapur, Nawada-Patna, and Patna-Islampur-were also inaugurated to improve regional mobility.
