Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he has agreed to meet U.S. President Donald Trump in the near future, signalling renewed high-level diplomacy amid ongoing war with Russia.
In a post on X on Friday, December 26, Zelenskyy said many key decisions could be taken before 2026, stressing that Kyiv would not delay talks on critical issues.
"We will not lose a single day. We have agreed on a top-level meeting with Trump in the near future," Zelenskyy said, without providing further details.
