Ahmed al Ahmed, 43, was born in the village of Al-Nayrab in Idlib province, northwestern Syria, and migrated to Australia in 2006, where he holds citizenship. He makes a living as a fruit seller and has been living away from his parents for the past 19 years. He was enjoying coffee with a friend when the shooting erupted at Bondi Beach.
