Afghanistan, July 13 -- The U.S. government has warned its citizens, especially Iranian-Americans, not to travel to Iran due to serious safety risks.
In a rare move, the U.S. Department of State has launched a dedicated website warning American citizens-especially those with dual Iranian-American nationality-not to travel to Iran under any circumstances.
According to The New York Times, the travel warning follows rising regional tensions, particularly after U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities heightened security concerns and diplomatic friction.
