Afghanistan, Dec. 14 -- Two people were killed and eight others injured in a shooting at Brown University in Rhode Island, authorities say, as police hunt the suspect.
The shooting occurred on Saturday, December 13, in the university's engineering and physics building while multiple exams were in progress, CNN and local officials reported. Students and staff inside the building were caught in chaos and panic as the attack unfolded.
Local authorities described the suspect as a male dressed in black. He remains at large, with police, the FBI, and the ATF actively coordinating the search.
