The U.S. State Department announced on Tuesday, July 29, a $10 million reward for information leading to the location or activities of Saad bin Atef al-Awlaki, the leader of al-Qaeda in Yemen.
According to the State Department's "Rewards for Justice" program, the bounty also applies to any information that could help weaken or disrupt al-Qaeda's operations in the region.
