Asia, Jan. 22 -- The United States was watching development between India and Pakistan over Kashmir closely enough and was ready to help if necessary, said President Donald Trump.

In his remarks at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trump reiterated the trad and borders were both critical points for discussion - as the US has been wrestling with border and trade issues with its neighboring Mexico and China, the world's second-largest economy, respectively during his presidential tenure.

While Imran Khan, Pakistan's Prime Minister, said that for him, Afghanistan was the top priority. He further added, "improving its country's relations with India is important, but the most pressing concern is Afghanistan."
