Afghanistan, Feb. 14 -- The President of Panama said on Thursday that 119 refugees were deported from the United States to Panama. He mentioned that these refugees are from Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, and Uzbekistan, and will later be sent back to their respective countries.

According to the Associated Press, Jose Raul Mulino stated that in two additional flights, 360 "illegal" refugees will be deported from the United States to Panama.

The President of Panama had pledged last week during a meeting with the U.S. Secretary of State to cooperate with the United States in accepting and deporting refugees.
