Afghanistan, April 6 -- The U.S. State Department has announced that a high-level American delegation, led by Eric Meyer, head of the South and Central Asia Bureau, will visit Pakistan from April 8 to 10. The visit aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in counterterrorism and explore economic partnerships, especially in the mining sector.

In a statement released on Saturday, April 6, the State Department said Meyer will represent U.S. interests at Pakistan's Mineral Investment Forum, focusing on critical minerals and long-term investment opportunities.
