Afghanistan, April 6 -- US airstrikes targeted Houthi positions in Saada, Yemen, killing one person and injuring four others, escalating regional tensions further.
The Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah network reported that U.S. airstrikes on Saturday night hit the Hafsin area in eastern Saada, killing at least one person and injuring four others. The strikes were part of an ongoing military campaign against Houthi forces in Yemen.
According to the report, American fighter jets conducted four separate bombings on the Hafsin region. Al Arabiya and Al Hadath also confirmed the continued presence of U.S. warplanes flying over Saada throughout the night.
