Afghanistan, Feb. 3 -- The United States and Iran are set to resume nuclear talks on Friday in Istanbul, with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi expected to meet to revive stalled diplomacy.

Regional diplomats say representatives from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, the UAE and other states may also participate in the Istanbul discussions, aimed at preventing further escalation.
