Afghanistan, Sept. 16 -- UNICEF has warned that children in Afghanistan face endless crises, lacking access to education, healthcare, clean water, and protection, leaving them the most vulnerable population.

Children in Afghanistan are facing a cycle of endless crises that threaten both their present and future, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has warned.

In a statement released on Tuesday, September 15, UNICEF stressed that access to quality education, healthcare, clean water, and child protection has become nothing less than a lifeline.

The agency noted that, with support from the Embassy of Japan in Afghanistan, it has been able to deliver essential services to children in need.
