Afghanistan, Jan. 22 -- UN Security Council members strongly condemned a terrorist attack on a Chinese restaurant in Kabul, calling for accountability and justice for victims.

Members of the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday night issued a statement condemning the terrorist attack on a Chinese restaurant in Kabul's Shahr-e-Naw area.

The council expressed condolences to the families of the victims and extended sympathy to the people and governments of Afghanistan and China.

Security Council members stressed the need to hold those responsible for planning, carrying out and supporting the attack fully accountable.
