Afghanistan, Dec. 12 -- The United Nations has urged Israel to immediately lift all restrictions on humanitarian aid to Gaza, warning that ongoing limits are worsening the enclave's deepening crisis.

The United Nations has issued urgent warnings as Storm "Byron" intensifies the already dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. Farhan Haq, the UN Deputy Spokesperson, said that the Office for Humanitarian Affairs received more than 160 flood alerts on Thursday morning, highlighting the growing danger to displaced families living in fragile shelters.
