Afghanistan, Sept. 29 -- The UN said Israel struck health facilities in Gaza 17 times over two weeks, while Gaza's Health Ministry confirmed 70 deaths and 180 injuries in 24 hours.

The United Nations Human Rights Office has reported that Israel carried out 17 attacks on or near health facilities in Gaza over the past two weeks.

It called for urgent protection of medical centers and immediate humanitarian access to ensure health services and critical aid reach civilians in need.

Meanwhile, Gaza's Health Ministry said on Monday that more than 70 Palestinians were killed and 180 others wounded in the last 24 hours.
