Afghanistan, Feb. 21 -- The UN's special rapporteur on Afghanistan said he will present a new report next week on the right to health for Afghan women and girls.

Richard Bennett said on Friday in a post on X that he is preparing for the 61st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, following a recent visit to Pakistan.

He said he will present his report on February 26, focusing on the right to health of women and girls in Afghanistan and addressing recent human rights developments.

Bennett, who has been barred by the Taliban from entering Afghanistan, recently met Pakistani officials to discuss the human rights situation during his visit.
