Afghanistan, March 26 -- The UN has called for the inclusion of Afghanistan's women footballers in international competitions, urging FIFA to support their participation.
Richard Bennett, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Afghanistan, has called for the inclusion of Afghanistan's female football players in international competitions.
On Wednesday, March 26th, Bennett urged the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to break its silence on the gender-based repression by the Taliban and allow Afghan women footballers access to global tournaments.
