Afghanistan, June 25 -- The UN warns millions in Afghanistan face a humanitarian crisis and urgently seeks $2.42 billion to provide food, water, healthcare, and shelter.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has announced that more than $2.42 billion is urgently needed to support millions of people in Afghanistan.

In a new report released on Tuesday, OCHA described the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan as deeply concerning, stating that millions of people require immediate aid to survive. Without sufficient funding, many vulnerable children, women, and the elderly will continue to face severe hardships due to limited access to basic services.
