Afghanistan, Sept. 9 -- The United Nations has appealed for $139 million to deliver urgent shelter, food, healthcare, and support to nearly half a million survivors of Afghanistan's deadly earthquakes.
The United Nations has announced that it requires more than USD 139 million to provide urgent assistance to hundreds of thousands affected by recent earthquakes in eastern Afghanistan. The appeal comes ahead of winter, with warnings that conditions for survivors remain extremely fragile.
