Afghanistan, March 3 -- The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says that this year's Ramadan in Afghanistan arrives at a time when millions of Afghans do not know where their next meal will come from. The organization added that nearly 15 million Afghans are facing food insecurity.
On Sunday, March2, OCHA wrote that currently, 3.1 million people in Afghanistan are struggling with acute hunger. The organization acknowledged that more than one billion dollars are needed to provide humanitarian assistance to those in need in Afghanistan.
