Afghanistan, Nov. 21 -- Ukraine has rejected a joint U.S.-Russia peace proposal, denouncing the 28-point plan as an "absurd" surrender demand that threatens the country's sovereignty.

Ukraine has rejected a joint U.S.-Russia draft peace proposal, calling it "absurd" and equivalent to surrender, senior officials said on Thursday.

Kyiv said the 28-point plan was drafted without its input and mirrored Moscow's early demands after the 2022 invasion, including the handover of northern Donbas, a halving of Ukraine's military and the removal of long-range weapons.
