Afghanistan, Sept. 2 -- The UK government has allocated one million pounds to support UNFPA relief efforts, providing medical teams, hygiene kits, and shelter for families affected by Afghanistan's deadly earthquake.

The British Foreign Office has announced an emergency aid package of one million pounds to support the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in response to the recent earthquake in Afghanistan.

The aid, announced on Monday evening, September 1, 2025, will include mobile health teams, emergency medical kits, specialized women's hygiene kits, and temporary shelter for displaced families.
