Afghanistan, Nov. 27 -- The United States plans to deploy additional forces and aircraft to the Caribbean as part of expanded operations aimed at disrupting regional drug-trafficking networks.

The United States is preparing to send additional forces and aircraft to strengthen its operations against drug trafficking in the Caribbean, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said, according to a Reuters report published Wednesday.
