Afghanistan, April 21 -- Pakistani media reported that two customs officials were killed in an attack by armed individuals in the Dara Ismail Khan area.

According to the report, the incident occurred on Sunday, April 21st, where four other customs officials were wounded.

Pakistani media reported, citing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police, that armed assailants hidden among bushes attacked a vehicle carrying customs officials on the Sagoo road and then fled the scene on motorcycles.

This is the second time in the past week that customs officials in Dara Ismail Khan have come under attack.

On Friday, April 19th, six people, including five customs officers, were killed in a shootout with armed individuals in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district.
