Afghanistan, Feb. 5 -- Iranian media have reported two separate incidents of familial homicides occurring on Sunday, February 3, 2025, in the provinces of East Azerbaijan and Hamadan. In the first incident, a 51-year-old man in Bonab, East Azerbaijan, fatally shot his 44-year-old wife, 15-year-old daughter, and 11-year-old son before taking his own life.

In the second case, a young man in Jorqan, Hamadan province, used a handgun to kill his wife, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law at his mother-in-law's residence. After committing the murders, he returned home and died by suicide.
