Afghanistan, Jan. 24 -- Turkey's foreign minister says the Gaza peace board is likely to grow, with participation eventually reaching between 25 and 30 countries worldwide.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Friday that 19 countries have already joined the Gaza peace board, while several others are still considering whether to participate.
He explained that some governments require additional time for internal consultations and predicted that six or seven more countries are likely to formally join the initiative.
The Gaza peace board was established on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, where 19 countries signed its charter as part of a new diplomatic framework.
