Afghanistan, May 15 -- On Wednesday, May 14, the U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, as part of the second leg of his four-day tour of the Middle East. During the visit, Trump signed several significant economic and defense agreements with the Qatari government.
Trump's aircraft was escorted into Qatari airspace by fighter jets from the Qatari Air Force. Upon landing at Hamad International Airport, he was personally received by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, in a gesture reflecting the importance of the visit.
